Good morning and Happy Friday! Yesterday was much better than Wednesday. I was feeling almost 100%. We are repainting our office and the smell bothered me some, but other than that, I am great. My sickness Wednesday must have just been something I ate.
When I was sick Wednesday evening, my Mom brought me some Sprite (I really should keep some on hand). When I opened the Sprite, it exploded and went everywhere in the kitchen. Needless to say, I was not feeling like cleaning. I wiped up the liquid and made a half-hearted attempt to mop that part of the floor. Later in the evening we discovered the floor was extremely sticky. So, immediately after work yesterday I cleaned the kitchen – specifically anywhere the Sprite landed. Countertops – clean. Floor – mopped (twice). Whew. I cannot feel any sticky now! SUCCESS!
My workout yesterday was a set of my awesome arm workout, 1 plank on elbows (45 seconds), and 20 minutes H.I.I.T. on the elliptical. Great workout. Just what I needed. After the workout had 1/2 cup of chocolate milk and an orange. My favorite post-workout snack.
So, SUPPOSEDLY, Planet Fitness is opening today. I have my gym bag packed and ready to go! I will be going right after work today. It has been a while since I have consistently worked out at a gym. What all do you keep in your gym bag? For today I have my tank top, sports bra, shorts, socks, and shoes packed along with a lock for the lockers.

Let’s countdown to the weekend!
