Mom’s Birthday Recap – Ruth’s Chris

Hello! I promised to share some highlights from Mom’s birthday dinner with you. The five of us headed to Ruth’s Chris Sunday evening. Ruth’s Chris is definitely the kind of place to go for special occasions. Here is a picture of me and the birthday girl:

First up was presents. Hubby and I got mom a pair of the new Agloves. Have you seen these gloves? They work great with smartphones and keep your hands (and fingers) warm at the same time. We got her their newest pair – grip touch. Makes holding the phone easier and still allows you to work your smartphone without removing your gloves. We also got her the Hand Relief by Aveda. This is one of the best hand lotions around. I put together a photo collage from our trip to Folly Beach as a final present. My mother-in-law got her a beautiful pitcher and a fun herb garden.

Next up came dinner! Ruth’s Chris is amazing, both the service and the food. They make the most incredible steaks and all of their food is excellent. I didn’t need a knife to cut my filet. It was so tender my fork could cut it.

They brought Mom a dessert with Happy Birthday written in chocolate. I ordered the Raspberry Sorbet and it was amazing. Probably the best sorbet I have ever had.

We had a wonderful evening and Mom enjoyed her birthday celebration!
